Well, like most start-ups there is no exact starting point, ideas flow for a while and the team gradually forms. People gravitate towards an idea, a vision, a joint sense of purpose.
For Brainnwave the idea came from Don, immersed in the world of data and seeing the power that comes from accessing the right data at the right time. A conversation that started with the cure for cancer evolved into a plan for breaking down barriers to accessing data. The founding team quickly gravitated toward this notion and the impact that could have, both social and commercial.
